About Brittany
Author
✵
Brittany was born in Tehran, moved to Texas, then to Saudia Arabia, then back to Texas – all before she was ten years old. But she didn’t mind because she had books with her wherever she went. Edward Eager, Elizabeth Enright, Ellen Conford – she spent time with Danny Dunn and with Veronica at the Wells, in the Secret Garden and dreaming of George’s island with its ruined castle and a boat to get there.
Today Brittany lives mostly in Massachusetts and works remotely as an editor for a university in Sweden. But she still travels a lot – to Canada and Scotland, across the United States and to Sweden. And stories are still her constant.

When she’s not writing, editing or reading, you can find her collecting trash on the beach – the tiny pieces are her favorite to gather – and reading all the fine print in insurance documents, just in case she ever needs it.
Her first children’s book, Mirabelle and Henry, is the first in the Bogtown Adventures series, created in collaboration with David Hyde Costello. It’s currently out on submission.
